Alpine Tip #12 - Liquid Intake
On the day before the trip consume your food in liquid or semi-liquid
form. Avoid low-calories food that takes time to digest such as apples,
In doing so you will avoid keeping unnecessary undigested items in your
system, keeping your body weight in check. When your pack is 45lb and
you are going 1.5 km vertical, every extra ounce counts!
Your body will get well hydrated too. Protein drinks, milk, yogurt, soups, 豆腐，麦片粥 - all will be good.
